ATTENTION HOCKEY FANS! 

Unum and Portland PIRATES are teaming up for the 2011 Starting 6!  Help us recruit the team!

Unum and the Pirates are teaming up again to recognize, honor and celebrate the good work of Maine educators.

WE NEED YOUR HELP RECRUITING THE 2011 STARTING 6Team. 

Game date JANUARY 21, 2011

Nomination deadline:  DECEMBER 10, 2010

Please nominate an teacher in your school or district who has made an extraordinary difference in the lives of your students and the quality of your school. 

Six educators representing each grade span: K-4, 5-8, and 9-12 will be selected. 

These six individuals will receive a personal check for $500, a personalized Pirates uniform top, game tickets for eight, overnight accommodations for those who live more than two hours from Portland and the opportunity to participate in Unum’s on-field ceremony!
